 I was never a big fan of Bill , but stories like this

 one ,puts him high on the list of good guys .

I was never a huge fan of Bill's but I did like some of his songs like still and city lights by Ray Price that Bill wrote at about 20 yeas old t has always been a favorite if mine. I was always amazes that he had the perceptive  to write itabout life 

I've always liked Bill, not so much for his singing, but for his personality, talent of songwriting. It was so sad when his first wife Becky,  was in that accident, she was very close to dieying  then and he was taking care of her after she was able to come home. But there was a lot of brain damage and changed her whole personality and she no longer wanted the life she had before ... sad ... he married again, but it didnt last long .... then after being alone for many years, he found another love of his life, but they never got married nor did they ever live together and she died from cancer a few years ago ... he was heart broken again
