Sounds delicious , where's the turnip ? 

 I don't use celery in stew ,but got to have my turnip .

 Carrots , turnip , potatoes , onions and meat , 

 fresh bread , yum yum good . 

 I'm missing , I need to be there ..

The Loveless Cafe in Nashville is known for it's biscuits. Carol Faye (RIP) worked there for years and has been on several tv shows.. It use to be a motel. There is a large music place behind it.

 My daughter made stew , she called it million dollar stew , 

 the price of the beef was outrageous .

I have never even thought about putting turnips in stew .. I like them roasted ... now I hate celery, but by the time the stew cooks three hours that celery is  dead and I can't taste it, but it does add to the overall flavor .. I don't like tomatoes either Foxy, but I make a brown gravy stew, no tomatoes .. the price of meat is rediculous .. and eggs are going up every week ... they said this morning on the news that gas was at $6.00 a gallon in California ... that good enough for those radicals that live there . but it will catch up to us too

ya, Foxy, its a total disaster ... I don't know if we can survive 3 more years
